#### HiggsTools Summer School on Higgs Physics

The first HiggsTools School on Higgs Physics will take place in Palleusieux, Aosta Valley, Italy from June 28 – July 4 2015.

#### First Annual Meeting

The First Annual Meeting of the HiggsTools Network will take place in Freiburg from 15th - 17th April 2015. It will be an opportunity to review progress in Higgs Physics centred around
• WP1 - Interpretation of Data
• WP2 - Predictions and simulations of signal and background

#### First scientific publication from HiggsTools ESR

Stephen Jones, together with collaborators at the MPI Munich, submitted the first preprint by a HiggsTools ESR to the arXiv this week. Stephens paper tackles the problem of evaluating multiscale integrals that originate in loop diagrams.

#### Karl Jakobs receives the Stern-Gerlach Medal 2015 from the German Physical Society for Outstanding contributions to the discovery of the Higgs particle.

Prof. Dr. Karl Jakobs of University of Freiburg and member of HiggsTools has been recognised by the German Physical Society (DPG) with highest distinction it bestows in the field of experimental physics for his outstanding contributions to the discovery of the Higgs particle.

#### Search for Early Stage Researchers reopens

The partners of the Marie Curie Initial Training Network (ITN) HiggsTools are seeking to recruit 2 Early Stage Researchers (ESR) based at either the University of Freiburg (Germany) or the Institute for Nuclear Physics Krakow and the Warsaw University (Poland) with secondments within the network
